Position Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer II to support product quality across development and manufacturing. Responsible for inspection, testing, root cause analysis, MRB, CAPA, audits, PFMEA, control plans, and customer quality interface. Reviews GD&T drawings, BOMs, FAI reports, work instructions, and compliance matrices. Leads shop floor quality improvements, corrective actions, internal audits, and customer escapes. Ensures compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform product inspections and testing using precision measurement tools
- Lead MRB investigations, RCA, and CAPA activities
- Conduct internal audits and statistical analysis
- Review/approve FAI, final inspection reports, and quality documentation
- Develop PFMEA and Control Plans with cross-functional teams
- Train teams on quality processes and inspection methods
- Interface with customers and government representatives
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quality or Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 3–7 years of quality/manufacturing experience (supervisory experience preferred)
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, NQA-1
- Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Office skills
