Salary: $83,250–$115,000/annually

Summary

The Quality Engineer II ensures products meet all quality, regulatory, and performance requirements. This role supports testing, inspection, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across development and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections and testing using measurement and electronic tools.
• Develop and execute inspection plans, test methods, and quality procedures.
• Lead MRB, RCCA, CPA, and customer escape investigations.
• Train operators/inspectors and conduct floor audits.
• Review/approve FAIs, inspection reports, and drawing/spec changes.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and multi-level BOMs.
• Create/maintain PFMEAs and Control Plans with engineering teams.
• Conduct internal audits and use statistical techniques to analyze results.
• Interface with customer quality, engineering, and government reps.
• Make final acceptance decisions and review customer contracts for quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality (required); Master’s preferred.
• 3–7 years in quality or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, NQA-1 preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data tools.
