Senior Scheduler
Location: Ogden, UT
Type: Temp to Hire
Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Mon–Fri)
Position Summary
Responsible for coordinating the movement and processing of parts across multiple programs to meet customer delivery schedules with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate production and inventory data in the system
- Coordinate and schedule work across manufacturing areas
- Resolve work order issues, scheduling conflicts, and system discrepancies
- Monitor WIP, material shortages, and production flow
- Develop daily schedules, capacity plans, and recovery plans
- Collaborate with production, planning, and support teams
- Track work orders, purchase orders, and customer requirements
- Support AOG and expedited orders
- Prepare status reports and assist with process improvements
- Ensure proper packaging, material handling, and safety compliance
- Train and support junior team members
Requirements
- 3 years of scheduling, dispatching, or production planning experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of MRP/MRP II, capacity planning, and shop floor control
- Experience with AMAPS; APICS knowledge preferred
- Understanding of routings, travelers, and blueprints
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
