Job: Nurse - RN
Location: Russellville, AR
Duration: 3 Months Possible Extension
The hours are: M-F 3rd shift 11pm-8am.
Job Description
Summary: This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses dispensing over the counter and prescription medications as ordered assisting with required health assessments for specified programs.
Other duties include conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing spirometry testing or audiometric testing maintaining OSHA state and team member health records and participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs.
Other responsibilities include: assisting with team member health promotion; education and training programs; identifying workers compensation cases; assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers compensation files and performing other duties as the need arises.
Requirements
Education: Minimum academic preparation includes completion of licensed practical vocational accredited school of nursing program and current license to practice as a license practical vocational nurse in state of employment.
Experience
1 plus years experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to Occupational Health Nursing preferred.
Current CPR First Aid instructor certification preferred.
Communication Skills
Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills desired.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including generating simple letters spreadsheets or creating simple queries; may require knowledge of the Client Business Computer System.
Physical Requirements: Physical requirements include walking through the plant to ensure team member and supervisor compliance with prescribed modified restricted duty requirements. This will include walking up steps and using ladders.
