Job Title: Heavy Civil Construction Estimator

Location: Hudson, MA 01749

Job Type: Fulltime

Key responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive project bids.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Identify project risks, cost factors, and potential estimating issues.
• Coordinate with project management and operations teams during bid preparation

Required qualifications

• 5–7 years of estimating experience in heavy civil, highway, or bridge construction.
• Strong knowledge of quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and bid preparation.
• Ability to interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
• Experience evaluating subcontractor quotes, material costs, labor, and equipment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
