What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at NPower Solutions?
NPower Solutions is currently seeking experienced and dependable nurses to support Occupational Health Services (OHS) to travel to each of the 2 nuclear stations listed below in New York. An active nursing license in New York and full schedule availability during assigned dates are essential.
Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
Location & Dates:
- Nine Mile Point: 348 Lake Rd, Oswego, NY 13126, February 23 - March 30, 2026
- Ginna: 1503 Lake Rd, Ontario, NY 14519, March 23 - April 15, 2026
Schedule:
- Pre-Outage (First 1-2 weeks at each site): Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Outage Period: 12-hour shirts, 7 days/week coverage
- You’ll notice some of the dates overlap between locations. We’ll be staffing 2–3 nurses at each site to ensure all overlapping needs are covered. We’re looking for nurses who are flexible and able to rotate through both locations.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in New York
- Prior occupational health experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
- $50-60/hour plus 1.5x for overtime
- Matching 401k option
- $160 in per diem (must reside over 50 miles from the work location and meet eligibility requirements)
