Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse & Delivery Coordinator to support our mechanical contracting operations. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and distributing equipment, tools, and materials. The successful candidate will also deliver materials and equipment to jobsites, maintain warehouse organization, and assist field personnel as needed.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming deliveries of equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect deliveries for damage or shortages and report discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas.
- Prepare and distribute materials, tools, and equipment for field crews.
- Deliver materials and equipment to jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
- Pick up supplies, equipment, and returns from vendors and project locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles.
- Keep warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain vehicles records.
- Maintain tool tracking using software.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (Department of Transportation Health Card).
- Previous warehouse, construction, mechanical contracting, or delivery experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (or willingness to be trained).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials and equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime may be required based on project needs
Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
