Job Description
- Provide leadership to ensure the success and improvement of the maintenance work process.
- Establish goals, objectives and key performance measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage adherence to operating, capital budgets and change management policies consistent with corporate and global competitive requirements.
- Ensure that team members receive appropriate education and training to meet the capability requirements of their job.
- Share process related information to leverage best practices and participates in site related management activities.
- Contribute to the manufacturing plan to integrate into site activities.
- Manage maintenance activities in safe and environmentally acceptable manner.
- Implement actions from SHE plan and ensure compliance.
- Implement/Monitor contractor safety
- Enforce management of change procedures
- Sustain a trained workforce
- Execute JSA, incident investigation, critical equipment inspection compliance including over dues.
- Develop and report department KPIs
- Prioritize maintenance activity based on SHE, operational and facility requirements
- Responsible for purchasing activities within the maintenance department
- Knowledge of CMMS operation and implementation to include critical spares listings and inventory management.
- Support plant and corporate initiatives as outlined in the manufacturing plan.
- BS Mechanical Engineering degree with 5 years experience in Maintenance/Facilities Management in chemical, bulk pharmaceuticals, food additives, or related process plants.
- Extensive background in hazardous processes (OSHA 1910.119), CMMS, TPM, RCA, PM and Maintenance Work Process.
- Knowledge and understanding of cGMP, ISO, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
