For this position there will be heavy emphasis on AP and GL. We are not replacing the person hired a few months ago. They need to add to the team.

- Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and internal reporting
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Track capital expenditures, inventory, and fixed assets
- Collaborate with procurement and operations for accurate cost allocations
- Assist with payroll and benefits reporting
- Prepare audit schedules and support external audit requests
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Will need to have experience in Manufacturing, Mining or other Cost Accounting environments.
