Job Description
- You are involved with pre-approved purchases, sales activity, and reporting on inventory availability
- You manage EDI and non-EDI order flows and sales inquiries
- You liaison with Sales and Operations in conjunction with the Supply Chain team to plan monthly
- You disseminate logistics information, via SAP, to internal departments
- Process purchases to parent company and / or suppliers
- Coordinate shipments with supplies, freight forwarders, and brokers.
- Manage third party providers to consolidate inventory, and ensure on time order fulfillment
- Resolve problems
- Maintain and publish inventory reporting, metrics
Requirements:
- High School required - a four-year degree is a plus
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a logistics, or supply chain coordinator
- Must have working knowledge of EDI
- SAP experience is a strong plus
- Industry background preferred in consumer products
