Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians while fostering a hands-on, lead-by-example culture
- Oversee daily maintenance activities, staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management
- Develop, implement, and improve preventative and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems
- Analyze maintenance KPIs, downtime trends, and equipment performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize CMMS systems and maintenance data for planning, tracking, and decision-making
- Manage spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and procurement processes to ensure critical components are available
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurring failures
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policies while promoting a strong safety culture
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and compliance documentation
- Drive 5S, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives across the maintenance function
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 5 years of maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, or processing environments
- Strong hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience managing preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement measurable improvements
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and maintenance best practices
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with spare parts inventory management and equipment reliability strategies preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
