Job Description
- Industrial Millwright (433A) certification
- 5 yrs experience in a mechanical maintenance role in an industrial environment
- Any prior electrical maintenance or PLC experience an asset
- Must have experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, conveyors, motors
- Able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer’s manuals to determine how a problem is to be approached
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required
- Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment within the plant
- Perform minor electrical repairs and assist the Electricians as needed
- Ensure mechanical equipment within the plant is regularly serviced and operating at maximum safe production levels
- Operate necessary equipment / tools to perform repairs
- Perform Mechanical PM activities as outlined on all equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety
- Track completed work through a CMMS (labour hours, parts, repair comments, etc.)
- Work closely with plant personnel on troubleshooting and problem solving initiatives
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required or assigned by Management
