- Perform and manage point-to-point wiring terminations, device checkouts, and drawing markups.
- Assist in setup and installation of field devices based on project specifications and schematics.
- Calibrate instrumentation and valve actuators, and support field start-up activities.
- Conduct checkout and start-up of control systems (DCS, PLC, etc.) and network components.
- Troubleshoot control systems at the network, controller, I/O, and device levels.
- Set up and maintain PC-based workstations used in automation environments.
- Provide technical support for customer contracts, including emergency services and preventive maintenance.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering preferred; Associate degree (HVAC, MET, EET) with 2 years of experience also considered.
- Experience with DCS, PLC, HMI, and/or DDC systems; knowledge of platforms such as Emerson DeltaV, Wonderware, or Rockwell is a plus.
- Familiarity with communication protocols including Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet (serial/TCP).
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and system drawings.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working near high-voltage electrical systems.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules based on customer/project needs.
