Job Description

Maintenance Manager

Reports: to Operations Manager

Reports: 11 or 12 indidviduals

• Maintain Machine Failure Mode Effects Analysis.
• Reviews maintenance, repair, and other project requests and assigns employees to specific projects, based upon overall manpower needs, skills, and capabilities of available staff.
• Direct the daily activities of all Maintenance personnel to provide support to all plant departments.
• Organizes and leads plant scheduled shut downs.
• Assures there are sufficient supplies and spare parts in plant.
• Recommends machinery, equipment, and facility improvements to increase operations efficiency.
• Arranges outside contractors to perform necessary work, some facilities work is involved.
• Maintain department records such as safety and training, continuous improvements, and all plant equipment.
• Demonstrate and enforce work rules, safety manual, start-up, shutdown, and lockout/tagout procedures for all equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
• Exhibit leadership in all aspects of their work.
  
  

Qualifications

Experience as a Maintenance Engineering capacity in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Shows regard and respect for all associates

Hands-on with rotating and non-rotating equipment and machinery

Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization; consensus builder.

4 Year engineering degree preferred
