CNC Machine Operator, Victoria, B.C.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities: Operate a variety of CNC lathes, milling machines and multi-tasking machining centers. Read and understand technical drawings and blueprints. Ensure parts are produced to specifications, verify work piece dimensions are correct and made within tolerances. Read and understnad technical drawings and blueprints. Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts and power tools.

Qualifications

  • Requirements: Post secondary training in technical automation or CNC machine tool operation.

3 years of experience operating CNC machining equipment. Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for duration of shift. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Available for shift work as needed.

Experience with Mazak and Fanuc controls are an asset.
