- Information Technology and Human Resources report to you in addition to the logistics team.
- Mentor, train, and develop a direct staff of six or more in all aspects of home and store delivery.
- Duties include:
- Day-to-day management of operations
- Managing budgets
- Continuous Improvement
- Developing vendor relationships
Client seeks someone who has experience with products which are shipped either direct to the consumer or direct to the store
Requirements
- At least a 4-year degree
- At least seven years’ experience in Logistics Operations, involving a national distribution network.
- A background in the manufacture and distribution of large consumer goods (electrical and / or appliances is a plus).
- Working knowledge of SAP and Excel
- Budgeting and Finance experience
- Strong negotiations experience
- Understanding of an EDI driven business.
