- Baton Rouge, LA (On-site, 5 days per week)
- Position Overview :
- The ideal candidate will have at least
- 5 years of experience
- in relay settings, a
- PE license
- and expertise in working with Schweitzer relays, microprocessor-based, and electromechanical relays. This is an
- on-site position
- requiring attendance at our Baton Rouge office five days a week.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement relay settings for protection systems.
- Perform analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of protective relay systems.
- Work with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) relays.
- Handle both
- microprocessor-based
- electromechanical relays
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other engineers and field teams to optimize system reliability.
- Qualifications :
- Requirements :
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- is required.
- Minimum 5 years
- of experience in relay settings and power system protection.
- experience with modelling software Aspen, Cape, & E-tap
- Hands-on experience with
- Schweitzer relays (SEL)
- Experience with
- both microprocessor-based and electromechanical relays
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
