Role Description
This role of Financial Advisor is based in Upstate, NY, with the flexibility of making your own schedule as you are your own entreprenuer. The Financial Advisor will engage in providing strategic financial planning and advisory services tailored to clients' needs. Day-to-day activities include analyzing clients' financial objectives, creating and managing personalized financial plans, advising on investments, and assisting with retirement planning. The role also includes maintaining strong client relationships and staying informed about market trends to provide up-to-date financial guidance. The financial advisor has full back-office support from all of our larger, various locations (VT, Albany, CT).
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assist clients in achieving their goals
- If securitiy licensed, expertise in Investments and Retirement Planning to manage client portfolios and long-term financial security.
- Strong understanding of Finance to provide well-rounded financial solutions
- Critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Licensure or designations such as Series 7, Series 66, CFP, or equivalent certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
