We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations efficiently.
