We need an Inside Sales hire to turn RFQs into shipped orders: fast, accurate quotes, specs locked in tight, orders pushed cleanly into production, and customers kept in the loop the whole way. You'll own the inbox, the front door of the company.
You will:

We need an Inside Sales hire to turn RFQs into shipped orders: fast, accurate quotes, specs locked in tight, orders pushed cleanly into production, and customers kept in the loop the whole way. You'll own the inbox, the front door of the company.
You will:
- Own inbound RFQs and quoting end to end, estimate jobs in WAYNE, run nests, validate scrap, and turn drawings, specs, and POs into clean jobs in NOX NEST
- Push orders into production with every detail right (alloy, temper, thickness, tolerances, certs, ship date, packaging)
- Work with scheduling to commit dates we can hit and hit the dates we commit to
- Own the customer relationship inside the four walls: quotes, follow-ups, confirmations, status updates
- Catch issues before they become problems, including missing specs, mismatched POs, and conflicting cert requirements
- Coordinate with quality, supply chain, and shipping on every order from open to delivered
- Work hand in hand with Outside Sales as the engine that lets them keep selling
- Log every quote and outcome in the CRM
- Ask questions instead of guessing, and always look for a better way to do the work
- Experienced in inside sales, quoting, estimating, or customer service in metals, machine shops, or industrial manufacturing
- Technically fluent: able to read a drawing and talk alloys, tempers, tolerances, and lead times
- Sharp with numbers and detail-oriented, comfortable living in spreadsheets, quoting tools, and AI tools all day
- Organized enough to juggle dozens of open quotes without dropping one
- Precise under pressure and customer-obsessed
- A low-ego team player who takes ownership, works safely, and never says "that's not my job"
- Metals or aerospace quoting background
- WAYNE-style nesting tools experience
- GD&T reading ability
- AS9100, DFARS, AMS, or ASTM experience
- Forklift or crane certification
