What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branded Content Producer position at NowThis?
We're looking for a Temporary Branded Content Producer to execute on client led social-first series from outline/script phase through post production. You'll work within NowThis’ existing IP series on sold integrations as well as create and produce custom content pitched by our internal integrated marketing team for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
The Branded Content Producer must be based in our New York City office.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Take sold projects and create concepts tailored to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Snapchat
- Own all logistics and planning (shoot coordination, talent, post-production workflows, timelines, and beyond) including, but not limited to travel shoots, reality shows, and various in-office and local branded productions
- Shepherd your projects from pitch through production
- Identify partnership opportunities with creators and influencers for on-camera opportunities
- Lead shoots independently and is able to manage small-to-large scale production teams on the road and on set
- Assist other members of the Branded Content team in-office and on set
- Manage and track timelines and budgets for Branded Content projects from inception to delivery
- Ability to craft narratives that are both compelling and aligned with brand integrations as well as the NowThis digital original series
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- 4 years of production experience on branded shoots
- Proven experience working with and being able to manage feedback from clients and agencies
- Experience managing crews
- Must be able to work full-time in NYC office / willingness to travel as needed
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times
- Maintain a consistent and organized workflow to ensure proper deadline delivery
- Collaborative, fast-moving, trend-savvy
NICE TO HAVES:
- Proficiency in video editing and graphic design tools like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or similar software
- Ability to film and run audio utilizing Sony cameras and Rode microphones
