- Assist in leasing activities, including property tours, tenant screening, and lease negotiations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Support property maintenance coordination by liaising with vendors, scheduling repairs, and ensuring facilities are well-maintained according to safety standards.
- Manage tenant relations through prompt communication, conflict resolution, and providing exceptional customer service aligned with Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain accurate data entry in property management; handle filing and documentation for lease agreements, legal notices, and compliance records.
- Assist in rent collection processes, including processing payments via Property Management Systems (PMS) like Clover; follow up on delinquencies professionally.
- Support legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, Section 8 programs, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Contribute to property marketing efforts through upselling available units and amenities; participate in sales initiatives to attract prospective tenants.
- Help coordinate property inspections, facilities management activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; familiarity with Section 8, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law is highly desirable.
- Experience with data entry and maintaining detailed records.
- Strong knowledge of legal contracts, lease agreements, and negotiation techniques to support leasing activities effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette; ability to manage conflicts confidently and diplomatically.
- Office experience including filing, data management, and administrative tasks;
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
