Location: Coconut Creek, FL US 33073
Job Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm)
Pay Range: $20–$30 an hour

Overview:

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented bookkeeper. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering the opportunity to prove yourself and transition into a long-term role with growth potential. You will manage financial activity, handle job cost tracking, and support the field and office team with day-to-day bookkeeping functions. Experience in construction is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial record and job cost entry
• Process account payable and account receivable
• Reconcile bank account and credit card statement
• Generate and send invoice, track payment, and follow up on outstanding balance
• Maintain general ledger, cost code, and vendor profile
• Assist with payroll data entry and timesheet review
• Prepare financial report such as P&L, balance sheet, and job summary
• Communicate with client, vendor, and subcontractor for billing and document clarification
• Support month-end close and provide document for CPA as needed
• Maintain organized digital and paper file system
• Perform other related clerical or bookkeeping task as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally in a construction setting
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with job costing, WIP report, and retention tracking
• Excellent organizational skill, accuracy, and time management
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and meet deadline
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required

7:00am – 4:00pm
