Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator / Electrician who understands residential electrical work and is comfortable evaluating projects in the field.

This is not strictly a desk estimating position. The right candidate will regularly visit job sites, review the scope of work, take measurements and photos, document project conditions using an iPad, and prepare accurate estimates.

The position is approximately 80% residential and 20% commercial electrical contracting.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential and commercial jobsites to evaluate electrical work
• Review project scope and customer requirements
• Take detailed photos, measurements, and field notes
• Use an iPad and estimating technology/software
• Prepare accurate labor and material estimates
• Identify electrical service, repair, upgrade, and installation requirements
• Review existing electrical systems and determine necessary work
• Communicate clearly with customers, office staff, electricians, and project teams
• Help ensure estimates accurately reflect jobsite conditions
• Travel to different jobsites throughout the workday
  

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of residential electrical service experience
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems
• Commercial electrical experience is a plus
• Previous estimating experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable walking jobsites and evaluating electrical installations
• Ability to read electrical plans, scopes, and job specifications
• Comfortable using an iPad, mobile apps, and estimating software
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and make accurate field assessments
