Job Description – Interface Coordinator

Position Summary:
The interface coordinator is responsible for overseeing all engineering coordination, technical integration, and interface management for the LNG Project in the United States. This role ensures that engineering deliverables from EPC contractors align with project requirements, regulatory obligations, and Owner standards.
The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with strong multidisciplinary knowledge, proven EPC interface-management capability, and a track record of delivering complex energy or LNG projects. The position plays a central role in managing cross-discipline interfaces, ensuring technical consistency, and resolving engineering issues that may impact schedule, safety, or compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall engineering coordination and integration across all project disciplines.
- Review EPC engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve multi-discipline technical conflicts, design gaps, and interface issues.
- Coordinate technical communication between PMC, Owner, EPC contractors, and external consultants.
- Monitor engineering progress, critical issues, and risks; provide technical guidance to project leadership.
- Support permitting, regulatory, and construction teams with technical input as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or related field); Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 15 years’ engineering experience in LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of EPC execution processes, multidisciplinary engineering, and interface management.
- Proven experience working in a PMC, Owner’s Engineer, or large-scale international project environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage complex interfaces.
- Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent certification preferred; PMP is a plus.
