Key ResponsibilitiesPayment Lifecycle: Manage the entry of self-pay, insurance, and manual exception payments into the Epic billing system.Quality Assurance: Conduct batch audits and review manual postings to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance.Denial Management: Process insurance and non-payment denials; initiate the refund process to ensure timely return of misdirected revenue.Efficiency: Meet daily departmental production quotas while providing backup support for various revenue cycle functions.QualificationsExperience: Minimum 3 years in a physician office or hospital business unit, specifically in billing or payment posting.Systems: Proficiency in Epic (highly preferred) and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge: Solid understanding of medical terminology and standard insurance reimbursement practices, medical billing, payment posting and collections.Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in a business or healthcare field is preferred
