Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician or individual that possesses good mechanical skills and likes working in the automotive field to join our team. We are willing to train the person. As a journeyman starting pay is $16 an hour. If After six months we think you are ready to take the Auto Glass technician certification test, and you pass the opportunity for a significant pay increase exists. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive glass repairs and replacement tasks, including but not limited to:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
- Conducting vehicle inspection
- Repairing or replacing auto glass
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge and skills to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective repairs
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Strong automotive repair skills, with experience in various areas such as:
- Auto glass installation
- Vehicle maintenance and repair
- Auto body repair and assembly
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
