Our Production Operators work together to operate processing equipment according to established procedures for the production of industrial enzymes.As a new Production Operator, you can expect an annual salary of $55k. Through training and certification programs, Novonesis provides the opportunity to significantly increase your hourly pay and earn promotions to a Senior Operator role.

Members of the Production Operations Team will:
- Get their hands dirty! This is a hands-on-role where we operate equipment sometimes manually and sometime with the help of computers. Most of the equipment is specific to our industry so we provide lots of training and support. Also, every task has a written procedure with steps that are checked off as you go.
- Move! This isn't a job where you sit all day. In fact, we have some specific physical requirements to do the job. For example, you need to be able to:
- Lift 60 pounds (a large bag of dog food)
- Pull 20 pounds (a weighted blanket)
- Work at heights / in confined spaces
- Climb stars frequently during each shift
- Communicate orally. We start each shift with a team meeting where we share what happened on the last shift and plan for the upcoming day.
- Operate computerized programs. Our process is based off a remote monitoring system that helps automate our process and systems.
- Work rotating & alternating days/nights 12-hour shifts. (No more standing in line on your Saturdays - all errands can now be completed when everyone ones else is working). Typically, Operators work 15 days a month on a rotating shift.
- Calculate basic math and science problems; therefore, a HS diploma or equivalent is required.
