Process Piping QC Subject Matter Expert
Location: Lebanon, Indiana | Onsite Requirement: Fully onsite, 5 days/week (6:00 AM–3:00 PM)

About the Opportunity
Join a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing construction project (est. $1.3B in project value) as a Process Piping QC Subject Matter Expert. This is a high-visibility role supporting quality assurance and compliance oversight for a major EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) initiative, offering the chance to work alongside top-tier contracting teams on a cutting-edge industrial build.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the owner's representative in the field, monitoring quality and compliance (non-directive of contractor labor)
Verify that installed process piping matches approved engineering drawings and specifications
Ensure the EPC contractor and subcontractors adhere to established quality standards and procedures
Identify active work fronts, raise questions, and collaborate with the contractor team to resolve discrepancies
Act as the on-site "eyes and ears" for quality compliance across piping installation activities
Provide technical expertise in carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy process piping systems
Support practical resolution of field issues by partnering with the contracting team
Qualifications
10 years of experience in Quality Control for large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects
Prior experience on projects valued at $100M preferred (current project exceeds $1.3B)
Industry background in Pharmaceutical or Oil & Gas preferred
Experience working with BIM (Building Information Modeling) models
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and cross-check work performed by third-party contracting firms
Strong technical background in quality control and process piping systems
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness and ability to work onsite 5 days per week
