Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, hands-on problem-solving abilities, and a passion for optimizing workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to analyze and improve manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Drive process optimization efforts using Lean methodologies and data-driven analysis.
- Facilitate and participate in Kaizen events to identify and eliminate waste.
- Conduct Value Stream Mapping to evaluate workflow efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide hands-on leadership for 5S initiatives and other workplace organization programs.
- Support quality, safety, and productivity improvements through structured problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production systems, workflows, and process optimization techniques.
- Excellent analytical thinking skills with the ability to make data-based decisions.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred).
- Experience in Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and 5S or other continuous improvement methodologies.
