Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Molding Technician to support daily molding operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining molding equipment to ensure high-quality production and optimal machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding, blow molding, or compression molding machines.
• Perform mold changes, equipment setups, and machine adjustments according to production schedules.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, perform minor repairs, and escalate technical problems when needed.
• Inspect molded parts visually and using measurement tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Accurately document production data, cycle times, machine parameters, and material usage.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on molds, machines, and related equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to improve processes and reduce scrap.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents promptly.
• Provide guidance or training to junior operators when required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical/vocational training.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Molding Technician or Machine Operator (injection molding preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of molding machinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work instructions, and use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Basic knowledge of plastics processing, mold setup, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work shifts or overtime as required.
