Join our dynamic Novopharm team as a Long Term Care Pharmacy Data Entry Manager, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of medication data processing within a specialized pharmacy setting. Novopharm of Tampa, LLC is a closed-door long term care pharmacy in business over 15 years. We have four locations statewide, with our main location in Tampa Florida. All of our data entry technicians operate out of our Tampa location.
This position will require a very strong understanding of the Frameworks LTC pharmacy system.
The primary hours of employment are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to close at approximately 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the pharmacy data entry team to ensure timely and accurate input of medication orders, patient information, and billing details.
- Oversee the maintenance of electronic health records, ensuring compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and healthcare providers to verify medication data accuracy and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards, including drug regulation laws and pharmacy software protocols.
- Maintain patient confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines and safeguarding sensitive information at all times.
- Support the onboarding and training of new staff on Frameworks LTC pharmacy software systems, data entry procedures, and medical terminology relevant to long-term care settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in LTC (Long Term Care) pharmacy operations with a strong background in pharmaceutical data entry.
- Background in management will be needed for this position.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation laws, and medical terminology related to acute care environments.
- Hands-on experience with Frameworks LTC pharmacy software
- Demonstrated ability to manage data entry tasks accurately while maintaining high attention to detail under deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient service and patient care excellence.
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
