Commercial Loan Officer (VP Level)
Location: Roseville, MN | Onsite, Monday–Friday
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 base salary, based on experience, plus incentive plan and bonus opportunity of up to 21% of base compensation.

(NOVON Consulting is partnering with the bank to recruit an experienced commercial lender.)
Your Role: Relationship Building Sound Lending
· Build and grow profitable commercial banking relationships through sales calls, local networking, referrals, and proactive customer outreach.
· Originate, structure, and service commercial loans, balancing portfolio growth with strong credit quality.
· Work directly with business customers to understand financing needs, explain loan options, and coordinate applications and documentation.
· Evaluate credit requests using tax records, balance sheets, and other financial information, and recommend appropriate loan terms.
· Make approval or denial decisions within your lending authority and present larger credits to the Officer’s Loan Committee.
· Manage ongoing portfolio needs, including site visits, collateral inspections, annual reviews, renewals, collections, and delinquency follow-up as needed.
· Connect customers with loan, deposit, and cash management solutions through cross-selling and responsive, relationship-focused service.
· Collaborate with internal teams to meet sales and service goals while following bank policies, lending guidelines, and applicable regulations.
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
· At least 4 years of commercial lending experience.
· Strong skills in commercial lending, credit standards, financial statement analysis, and loan portfolio management.
· Familiarity with commercial credit, deposit, and cash management products.
· A self-motivated, customer-focused approach, clear communication, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent service.
· Knowledge of business management principles preferred.
