How You'll Perform The Role What We Need From You What You'll Get From Us
- Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures.
- Ensure all guards are in place and functioning properly
- Enforce all safety rules including but not limited to safe work procedures such as lockout/tag out.
- Enforce PPE requirements
- Identify safety training needs provide feedback to Safety Manager, Supervisor, or training coordinator.
- Check bags for quality defects off the machine, do all quality checks and paper-work as per Quality Policy.
- Ensure requires quality checks are being performed by the BMO
- Perform quality checks ate each roll change
- Identify quality training needs and provide feedback to quality manager, supervisor, or training coordinator
- Prefer to have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Capable of communicating with all levels of internal and external customers.
- Must be able to think on your feet, work with limited supervision and make sound decisions.
- Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude.
- Should possess basic mechanical skills.
- Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Must have basic troubleshooting abilities.
- Regularly required to stand, sit, move about facility, climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools and controls, grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, lift above shoulder level. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
