Can you keep complex production lines running safely and efficiently? Step into a role where your electrical expertise powers thermo-formers, trim presses, extruders, crystallizers, and dryers—while meeting rigorous standards for product quality, safety, and legal compliance.
What success looks like- Every job begins and ends with safety: Lockout/Tagout, Critical Safety Rules, plant/department protocols, PPE, MSDS procedures, fire system alarms, and proper equipment startup/shutdown.
- Work orders are completed accurately and on time, with clear documentation.
- Equipment issues are diagnosed quickly; root causes are found and fixed.
- AC/DC motor controls, single‑ and 3‑phase circuits, electronic drives, and PLC controls are repaired and optimized.
- Conduit, machine wiring, and high‑horsepower motor installs (up to 600 hp and larger) are executed to spec.
- Custom brackets, electrical boxes, and disconnect mounts are fabricated and installed cleanly.
- AC/DC motors are inspected, tested, cleaned, and brushes replaced when needed.
- Preventive maintenance on thermo-formers, trim presses, extrusion and support equipment reduces unplanned downtime.
- Teammates gain capability through your training and sign‑offs.
- You jump in where needed—other duties as assigned.
- 3 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Proficiency reading electrical schematics/blueprints and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Lift/Scissor Truck operation.
- Clear, professional communication with managers and peers.
- Bonus: Experience with electrical components on thermo-formers, extruders, crystallizers, and dryers.
- Shift: 7am–7pm, 2‑2‑3 rotation
- Starting pay range: $33.04–$36.04 an hour (Based on Experience)
