Heritage Bag – Can Liner Division Blown Film Extrusion and Bag Converting Technician Step into a production floor where precision and reliability matter. As an experienced operator, you’ll transform polyethylene resin into dependable trash can liners and ensure every roll and pallet meets our standards for quality and safety. A day in the life You begin by readying the blown film extrusion lines, confirming settings and safety checks before the first run. Throughout the shift, you keep the lines stable, switch efficiently between product runs, and complete changeovers with care. When screens clog or blades dull, you handle screen changes, blade changes, and teflon tape replacement to keep throughput and quality on target. You log production and scrap in the system, wrap, weigh, and secure finished pallets, and you promptly alert supervisors and maintenance to any equipment concerns. You help uphold safety policies and procedures, and you support breaks, meal periods, and shift changeovers. And when priorities shift, you pitch in with other duties as assigned.
