This is a full-time remote position for an Account Manager based in the Los Angeles area. The Account Manager will oversee client relationships, identify and seize business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction in alignment with company goals. Daily responsibilities include managing accounts, building and nurturing client partnerships, providing tailored solutions, and coordinating with internal teams to meet customer needs and objectives. The role also involves conducting market research, developing sales strategies, and assisting with post-sales support.
- Experience in business development, account management, and building strong client relationships
- Knowledge of genomics, NGS technologies, and bioinformatics, with the ability to understand and communicate scientific concepts
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in market analysis, sales strategy development, and negotiation
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple accounts effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Genetics, or related field (advanced degree is a plus)
- Experience in the biotechnology or genomic services industry is highly desirable
