Position Summary

The EL Admin (Administrative Coordinator) provides administrative support to EL leadership, using their skills to adapt processes to complete projects and assignments in an efficient manner. The right candidate must be aligned with Novo's Christian beliefs and have a proven desire to serve in Christian ministry.
The work schedule is flexible, averaging 5-15 hours per week, with some periods of additional work requirements and domestic or international travel. 


Responsibilities 

  • Manage EL communications (emails, lists, inquiries)
  • Coordinate workflows (Google Drive, website, calendar)
  • Assist with budgets, expense tracking, role descriptions, staff changes
  • Support leadership meetings (notes, input)
  • Help design and track projects, task lists and follow-through
  • Organize staff gatherings (logistics, communications, finances)
  • Maintain Admin Handbook describing Admin responsibilities/tasks

  • GSuite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Groups, Forms, etc)
  • Zoom, MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Email platforms (MailChimp or similar
  • Basic design tools for occasional projects (e.g., Canva)

  • Video Editing
  • Project management (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com)

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear.  This job is sedentary, requiring the ability to sit most of the time.  The ability to speak clearly and convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, and the ability to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information is necessary.  Repetitive motions requiring frequent movement using the wrists, hands, and fingers, and average and ordinary visual acuity is necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate computers and office equipment. The position is a remote with occasion domestic travel for meetings to Novo headquarters in Anaheim California 3 - 4 times per year.
