As we continue expanding in the Las Vegas market, we are seeking a highly connected and relationship-driven Business Development & Event Sales Representative to help grow our presence locally.
Role Overview
This role is focused primarily on relationship-building and business development within the Las Vegas events industry. The ideal candidate already has existing relationships with hotel event teams, conference venues, production companies, DMCs (Destination Management Companies), and event agencies, and understands how the event industry operates.
You will represent Novo Studio locally, develop strategic partnerships, generate new business opportunities, and help position Novo Studio as a preferred event rental partner in the Las Vegas market.
We are open to both employee and independent contractor structures depending on the candidate’s experience, industry relationships, and ability to drive business development.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
* Hotel event personnel
* Conference and convention venues
* Event agencies and planners
* DMCs (Destination Management Companies)
* Production companies and industry partners
- Actively network within the Las Vegas events and hospitality industry
- Attend industry events, networking functions, site visits, and client meetings
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Position Novo Studio as a preferred event rental and event solutions partner
Sales & Client Management
- Generate qualified leads and new client opportunities
- Present Novo Studio’s products and services to prospective clients
- Collaborate with internal team on proposals, pricing, and event execution
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the sales process
- Help grow repeat business and long-term client relationships
- Maintain accurate communication and follow-up with prospective and existing clients
Market Development
- Help establish and strengthen Novo Studio’s presence in the Las Vegas market
- Provide insight into local market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
- Identify opportunities with hotels, venues, conferences, conventions, and recurring events
- Support long-term market growth initiatives and strategic partnerships
Ideal Candidate
Experience
- 3–5 years experience in:
* Event sales
* Hospitality sales
* Event production and/or sales
* Venue sales
* DMC or agency environment
- Existing relationships within the Las Vegas event and hospitality industry strongly preferred
- Experience working with corporate events, conferences, conventions, or luxury events preferred
