About the Role:
Contract starts date: 8/6/2026
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orientation and Mobility Specialist to join our team in the KC area for the 26-27 school year. In this rewarding position, you’ll work with individual kiddos, helping them develop the skills necessary to travel safely and independently in a variety of environments.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized orientation and mobility plans
- Provide direct instruction in orientation and mobility techniques
- Collaborate with families, educators, and service providers
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
Requirements:
- Valid Kansas Orientation and Mobility Specialist License
- 1 year of experience working with individuals with visual impairments preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping others achieve independence
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
