Our team is looking or a Forklift Operator to be responsible for moving products around the warehouse with ease. They need to use RF scanners to keep track of the items they are moving. The operator will need to ensure the product is secure and safe to transport to the designated location.
Shift: Monday - Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Essential Responsibilities
- Operates a forklift to move product and pallets throughout warehouse to an area safely.
- Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.
- Ensures that product is moved and scanned using a radio frequency scanner to the correct location and confirm product labels are accurate.
- Maintains a clean and safe area free and clear of any debris.
- Anticipates the needs of the business, keeping like product together and accessible.
- Successfully passes all Novo forklift training and operate a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo. May place standup items into designated area by hand as required. *
- Effectively perform all essential functions, including physical requirements
- Ability to move awkward product lengths and weight.
- Experience with operating a forklift with rate rating of 6,500 pounds.
- Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills
- Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Flexibility in scheduling - able to work overtime as needed
- Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating a forklift primarily with product weights of 2500 lbs. or more.
- Prior experience lifting wide loads, as long as 18 feet.
- Minimum one year experience operating a forklift.
- High School Diploma or GED

- Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust .
- 100% stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp.
- 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception.
- 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment.
- 10%: Working bent at waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bending or twisting.
- Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Lift, push or pull 75-100 lbs. with assistance
