Description
We are looking for a driven eCommerce Specialist to ensure Novo Building Products (Novo) actively and aggressively grows. The eCommerce Specialist will be responsible for managing the sales of Novo products on assigned vendor managed platforms. They will play a key role in maintaining and updating internal Novo product information as Novo’s internal eCommerce platform is developed.
Pay: $18 Hr
Hours: 1st shift, 6AM-3:30PM Mon-Thu and 6AM-10:00AM Fri

What will you do in this role?
- Demonstrates proficiency in processing parcel orders (“E-commerce”) from beginning to end.
- Demonstrates desire to see all shipping orders processed on time, complete, and in such a way that customers are entirely satisfied.
- Demonstrates ability to operate UPS & FedEx software, make sound decisions (i.e. the ability to choose and/or modify packing supplies to safely and efficiently pack products) and interact effectively with coworkers to achieve common goals.
- Places completed and labelled orders into designated area as orders are fulfilled.
- Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy levels and cycle counts product as needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe area, free and clear of any debris and rebinding loose bundles as needed.
- Loads trucks/trailers/vans safely in a manner that prevents damage during transportation.
- Successfully passes all Novo training and operates equipment per safety requirements established within Novo.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Effectively performs all essential functions, including physical requirements.
- Effectively uses required PPE and company approved tools with awareness of surroundings and potential safety hazards while maintaining a safe work area.
- Demonstrates the ability to safely manage awkward product lengths and weights.
- Demonstrates basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates initiative to fulfill customer orders on time and complete.
- Demonstrates ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures and standard work instructions.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Flexibility in scheduling – able to work overtime as needed.
- Prior experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience driving industrial powered equipment.
- Able to withstand exposure to seasonal weather elements and wood dust.
- 100%: Stand, handle or feel, squeeze or grasp.
- 80%: Reaching with hands and arms, depth perception.
- 50%: Walk, repetitive motion, operate moving equipment.
- 10%: Working bent at waist, climbing, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, bending or twisting.
- Lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
