Must-Have SkillsHands-on experience with Dell PowerEdge rack and tower serversStrong proficiency in RHEL and Ubuntu operating systemsBackground working in large-scale server environmentsNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with PowerEdge XE server modelsResponsibilitiesMaintain a high level of detail, accuracy, and organization in all tasksSupport daily data center operations and routine activitiesPerform proactive data center walkthroughs, monitoring for hardware warnings (amber lights), hot spots, or other alerts, and notify the customer when necessaryEscort on-site field engineers when requiredCreate, update, and manage support tickets, ensuring timely follow-up and documentationManage LOIS parts inventory (training provided onsite)Maintain up-to-date environment documentation, including serial numbers, rack elevations, runbooks, and related recordsCoordinate with customers on planned maintenance activities, such as power work, cooling adjustments, or containment changesPerform BIOS lifecycle management, including user administration and patchingWork with Dell support to schedule and execute OSE break/fix activitiesFollow customer guidance to apply version updates and other approved changes
