What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at Novey Animal Hospital?
We are seeking a knowledgeable veterinarian to join our two well-established doctor team. Doctors work a four day work week and rotate through on call covereage for our boarding patients (2 weekends per 6). No other after hours on call or emergency work required. We are family friendly, love supporting our docs in their special interests and are open to flexible scheduling including part time. Well leveraged team of 20 support staff allow you to be a doctor. Compliant clientele with patient load consisting of 60% dogs/40% cats.
Digtal radiographs, digital dental radiographs and high speed dental unit with suction, ultrasound, in house acuptuncture certified veterinarian, laser therapy, tonopen. We practice high quality medicine, general surgery and dentistry with a team approach and would expect collaboration between veterinarians, staff and clients. We have close relationships with area referral practices and have boarded surgeons, ophthalmologists, dermatologists, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care all within a few blocks of us. New grads are very welcome as both current docs have been with our practice since graduation and are excited to mentor.
Tallahassee, FL houses the state capital, two universities, two major medical hospitals and is a short trip from beautiful beaches. Outdoor activities abound and you can get to most places from the airport. Good schools and options for land ownership are close by.
