Manager, eCommerce Sales & Optimization
A well-established, privately held company in the general merchandise and gift category is seeking an experienced and results-driven eCommerce Sales & Optimization Manager to lead the expansion of its direct-to-consumer digital business.
The company operates a vertically integrated model and has a proven track record of success supplying major national retailers. The next phase of growth focuses on accelerating online sales across gift, hardware, technology, and seasonal categories.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role for an entrepreneurial eCommerce leader with experience managing and scaling online brands generating $5M in annual revenue. Youll own strategy, execution, and optimization across digital channels, product presentation, performance marketing, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management & Optimization

Oversee daily operations and performance of the eCommerce site.

Optimize product listings, category pages, and overall UX to improve conversion rates.

Conduct A/B testing on content, promotions, pricing, and product positioning.

Ensure product assortment, copy, and visual merchandising align with current consumer trends.
Digital Marketing & Advertising

Plan, execute, and manage paid media campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.

Allocate and optimize advertising budgets based on ROI, CPA, AOV, and customer lifetime value.

Monitor and improve performance metrics including ROAS, conversion rate, and engagement.
Growth & Expansion Strategy

Partner with product and creative teams to develop and execute new product launches and seasonal campaigns.

Analyze data to identify trends, category performance, and high-potential SKUs.

Support due diligence on potential acquisitions or partnerships to expand the companys online presence.
Qualifications

5 years of experience growing and managing eCommerce businesses, ideally with $5M in annual online revenue.

Proven success driving performance-based marketing and ROI optimization.

Hands-on experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, Faire, or similar platforms.

Strong analytical skills with fluency in Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and A/B testing tools.

Creative mindset with an eye for merchandising and understanding consumer behavior in the gift category.
