Accounts Receivable Staff

SUMMARY

• As a member of the Accounting staff you will support the CFO, Controller, and Accounting Supervisor in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance / Accounting Department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• DSD, Wholesale and Liquidation cash posting (Lockbox, Live Checks, Wires, ACH, CC )
• DSD, Wholesale and Liquidation credit and debit memos
• Work closely with the entire Sales Rep Teams to track and resolve short pay issues
• DSD, Wholesale and Liquidation customer set up
• DSD, Wholesale and Liquidation AR Collection
• Reconciliation of AR accounts
• Demand letters and collection filing and process check refunds
• Retrieve data from SX and create spreadsheets (Statements) for multiple DSD, Wholesale and Liquidation customers
• Process CC payments over the phone for all customers
• Place/Answer AR calls
• Receive and process all live checks for DSD, Wholesale, Liquidation and Kipp that are sent here to the office – scan them into PNC bank for daily deposits
• Manage daily bank deposits of all monies from Kipp and Gift
• Keep customers updated on any adjustments that they need to take on next payment
• Support and backup Kipp/Gift job duties when needed
• Provide Invoice copies to multiple customers via fax and or email
• Performs other duties as assigned
Familiarity and experience using Artificial Intelligence (Claude, ChatGPT, CoPilot).

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist accounting supervisor and rest of accounting staff as needed
• Additional projects as needed

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivables and collections, with concentration on cash receipts
• Proven ability to perform independently
• Ability to read and operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs
• Proficiency with MS office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Persuasive and professional problem resolution skills
• Familiarity and experience using Artificial Intelligence (Claude, ChatGPT, CoPilot).
