The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a patient-focused approach to care. This role is fully onsite at our Brooklyn location.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards.Position patients safely and effectively to ensure comfort and optimal image quality.Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.Review and verify patient information, imaging protocols, and exam requisitions.Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to support accurate image interpretation and reporting.Maintain required documentation, quality assurance records, and compliance with FDA and MQSA regulations.Educate and reassure patients throughout the imaging process, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism.Monitor inventory of imaging supplies and assist with ordering as needed.QualificationsARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) required.Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license required.Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered.Knowledge of MQSA, ACR guidelines, and radiation safety standards.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.Strong patient care orientation and attention to detail.
