Job Description
The Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, electronics, and programmable controlled equipment. This includes:
- Working in a safe manner, adhering to all plant safety and environmental requirements, policies, and regulatory statutes.
- Notifying relevant personnel of irregularities in operating equipment or materials; maintaining clean and orderly conditions in work areas.
- Coordinating and carrying out various operations in the performance of any assignment.
- Planning, laying out, and constructing workstation tables, conveyors, platforms, and other work aids to improve ergonomics, safety, and general working conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to work on a night shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- 1-3 years maintenance work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate concern for personal safety and safety of others.
- Willingsness to participate in plant safety initiatives.
- Able to work as part of a team and capable of self-direction.
- Good verbal communication skills are required.
- Comfortable using Microsoft suite of products: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint; Oracle, and various analysis tools.
