AMC Math Instructor

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced AMC Math Instructor to join our growing academic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in competitive mathematics and a proven record of preparing students for high-level math competitions such as AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, and AIME.

Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is highly preferred, as many of our students are bilingual learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Deliver Lessons: Design and teach engaging, concept-driven lessons that strengthen students’ problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills in alignment with AMC standards.
• Enhance Student Performance: Provide personalized instruction, feedback, and targeted strategies to help students excel in math competitions.
• Create Learning Materials: Develop original practice problems, review sheets, and mock exams to support AMC and AIME preparation.
• Monitor and Support Growth: Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate on Curriculum: Work closely with the academic coordination team to design and refine enrichment programs and advanced math materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience, ideally with middle or high school students.
• Strong familiarity with AMC-style problem solving, mathematical reasoning, and contest preparation methods.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual proficiency (Mandarin & English) preferred but not required.
• A genuine passion for helping students enjoy mathematics while developing competition-level problem-solving skills.

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour
