Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Admissions Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the admissions process. This role is responsible for application review, interview and assessment coordination, document tracking, and system management, ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions experience for students and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify application materials using established checklists to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Track application progress and follow up on missing documents with students and families
- Coordinate and schedule admissions-related activities, including interviews and MAP assessments
- Maintain and organize applicant records, contracts, and required forms
- Utilize systems such as Blackbaud and Airtable for data entry, updates, and tracking
- Send standardized email communications and follow up as needed throughout the admissions process
- Monitor deadlines and send reminders for contracts, forms, and required documentation
- Collaborate with admissions, academic, and administrative teams to ensure timely information flow
- Support process improvements and provide general administrative support to the admissions team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Admissions Assistant or in a private high school administrative role
- Familiarity with admissions processes, application review, and student record management
- Experience coordinating interviews, assessments (e.g., MAP), and application tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Blackbaud and/or Airtable preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage professional email correspondence
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service mindset and team collaboration skills
