OVERVIEW:
The selected candidate will be eligible to work a hybrid work schedule after successfully completing an on-site introductory period (typically 6 months).

The primary responsibility of the Senior Key Accounts Representative is to manage NOVEC’s business relationship with its large customers and respond to customer inquiries regarding certain products offered by NOVEC Solutions. This senior-level role will ensure timely and professional responses are provided to all customer inquiries by phone, email, or in-person interactions. The Senior Key Account Representative will support assigned large customer projects to ensure contracted in-service dates are met. This role will oversee, direct, and coordinate all initial communication between NOVEC and the customer, as well as manage the customer relationship after energization occurs.
The Senior Key Accounts Representative creates and fosters new sales opportunities and sales leads. This senior-level role will ensure Energy Services activity product sales targets for existing product and service lines of the Company and its affiliates, as well as identify, enhance, and create new product or service opportunities that address the needs of the NOVEC’s customer base. The Senior Key Account Representative will provide feedback from meetings directly or indirectly with NOVEC’s key business customers who are named to the Key Account Program, builder-developers, and major residential home-owner associations to improve or expand the existing product line and services offered. This senior-level role will create and develop opportunities for interaction, fostering business development transactions with NOVEC’s customer base, and achieving their sales goals and objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Acts as the single point of contact and communication for all initial large power, commercial, industrial, and data center customer inquiries.
- Facilitates and oversees all NOVEC final billing timelines, schedules, and deliverables required by the customer. Reviews final customer bills and advises the Rate Analyst on bill accuracy for each billing cycle.
- Prepares, coordinates, negotiates, and initiates the Electric Service Agreement (ESA) and Master Power Supply Agreements between NOVEC and its customer(s). Maintains a close relationship with the Power Supply division on the required billing cycle (e.g., weekly or monthly).
- Coordinates with the appropriate functions (e.g., Business Analyst, Engineering, Power Supply, Metering Manager, and Power Supply Rate Analyst) to ensure new data center accounts are set up correctly upon energization.
- Manages the ongoing relationships for energized data center accounts.
- Works directly with the Power Supply team to coordinate, prepare, and propose all power supply offers from the company to the customer. This includes any specific procurement requests (e.g., power, fiber, or gas) that require coordination with the proper team (e.g., NOVEC Energy Solutions or NOVEC Solutions).
- Leads, supports, and facilitates contact efforts and sales initiatives to accomplish defined goals.
- Proactively initiates contacts, sales leads, sales opportunities, and business development initiatives with prospective and existing NOVEC customers.
- Provides proactive, face-to-face technical assistance to customers on energy-related products, rate schedules, demand, and supply side impacts. Coordinates with the appropriate outside product and program vendors.
- Provides feedback from key account customers, builder-developers, and major residential home-owner associations to improve and/or expand the existing line of products and services being offered and investigate and respond to any concerns.
- Prepares proposals, bids, and energy management projects to present and follow up as necessary.
- Facilitates coordination with the Operations Department during large business and key NOVEC customer service outages and service restoration efforts. Primary 24/7/365 contact for Data Center Outages. Responsible for reviewing and revising the Data Center Outage Procedure. Serves as one of the NOVEC points of contact for third-party call center for data center customers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered in lieu of degree. A Masters Degree is preferred.
- 5-7 years of directly related experience dealing face-to-face with influential government, commercial, industrial, and data center customers in a majority of the following areas: electrical distribution infrastructure design and construction, energy problem solving, energy marketing, product and program sales, rate analysis, project management, and energy management.
